The stores affiliated with the BMR Group are Canadian stores specializing in the distribution and sale of renovation and hardware products.

Mandate:
Design a transactional website in multiple phases while respecting the brand's visual identity and creating a high-quality user experience. Several technical challenges regarding availability and pricing in the various BMR franchised stores.

  • Streamlined navigation and organization for a high volume of products.
  • Utilized Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, and InVision to execute design solutions.

Design strategy:
The rebranding of BMR’s website centered on creating a scalable, transactional platform that could serve as the foundation for multiple sub-websites. The challenge lay in managing franchise pricing structures, as each store operated independently. Additionally, optimizing the large store locator and reorganizing an extensive product catalog were key to enhancing user experience. By prioritizing a modular design system and intuitive navigation, the new website ensured brand consistency while accommodating the diverse needs of individual franchises.
