Internal KPIs Implementation @ Valtech

I initiated the implementation of a centralized KPI system for the Marketing and Sales departments, consolidating data visualization via Power BI. The goal was to allow multiple teams, spread across different regions, to access a single source of truth, thereby enhancing transparency, inter-departmental collaboration, and strategic decision-making.

The KPIs already existed but were scattered and accessible to only a limited number of people, creating a lack of overall visibility and limiting the flow between the departments or regions. By centralizing the data and connecting the various sources in Power BI with relevant filters and strategically thought-out indicators, we were able to quickly improve performance readability and foster a shared data culture.

I led a team of two specialists: an analyst dedicated to data optimization and cleaning, and a technical expert responsible for implementing the connectors. I was also responsible for project planning, defining KPIs, and developing the overall strategy to ensure alignment between business objectives and user needs. This teamwork laid a strong foundation for more effective and scalable data governance.
